We get smarter every day. At least until certain age when the grey cells of our brain start to leak out. Of course, only lucky ones who manage to stay alive for that long. But senile dementia is not the topic of today (and I hope it will never be or not very soon). So, getting back to topic - about getting smarter every day or at least realizing something. Truth #1: we move forward if we get our a$$ kicked - can be proven by basics of physics, so I won't even start to. Truth #2: we can control the direction of movement if we control the force who kicks our a$$ - common sense. We can do it ourselves (You might think, that the skills of acrobatics are needed, but believe me, You don't really need them:) ) or ask someone else. The problem with later one - unless they are really sadistic - You can't really control the amount of force. Truth #3: it's so hard to do it to ourselves, especially if we sit comfortably in a rocking chair... at the age of thirty. Truth #4: that's why most people recover from crisis - they get their butts kicked. And may also be true, that after good times come the worse ones - just only because we don't receive any kicking force at the back at that time.
