Ironically that 18 years ago people went to Lithuanian Parliament to defend it and people who were elected to represent the nation from Russia. If there would be a need for such actions now - the only thing they'll defend will be only freedom, not the greedy officers sitting in the parliament - as the events on Friday have shown. Those 141 ones must understand that being elected is not a privilege but a duty, not a chance to fill their pockets with money of Lithuanian people but a responsibility to think of the ways how to make this country a better place to live for all who elected them. So far, the parliament members thought about this in the way they shouldn't and probably forgot that there might be no payback for that - but everyone has it's patience limit - even a nation. People don't get angry for no reason, and there have been plenty of reasons for that.
